This is a great location to unload the snowmobiles, less than 10 minutes from I81. The place has a majestic feel to it as you're riding through the woods, very cool place.
This place is awesome.
There is hunting allowed, though, and I have encountered groups of unsupervised hound dogs and, several minutes later trailing behind, the group of atvs with coyote carcasses strung over them. To each their own, but not something or some people I want to deal with when I am out with my own dogs.
Trails for everyone including atvs, snowmobiles, dog sleds, and equestrians. Wide main trails and nice, twisty forest trails.
In the winter, they groom it regularly, so it is beautiful.

Highest snowfall east of Colorado. Great year round outdoor activities. Xcountry snowmobiling hiking biking fishing hunting. What's not to love. It's remote too. Just look at a map of the area and there is a big blank spot with no roads. That the Tug hill.
